These two women are simply some of the most amazing people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. From the first instant we met at their consultation I knew they were my kind of people. They are incredibly loving, down to earth, funny, and simply just radiate joy together (and individually). Each and every meeting with them was like meeting up with old friends, not with clients who hired me to do a job.
When it came down to Kayla & Amanda’s actual wedding, the day pretty much went flawlessly. Glendalough Manor is absolutely gorgeous and their staff was over the top amazing helping make sure these two ladies didn’t see each other before the ceremony. It was pretty imperative that Kayla and Amanda did NOT see each other beforehand. They wanted that moment. That show stopping moment where they saw each other for the first time when walking down the aisle. And these two did not dissapoint. Kayla walked down first with her father and then waited for Amanda and her dad to come down. Kayla burst into a joyous laugh/crying fit and it took everything in me not to bust into tears too! I’m pretty sure everyone in the guest count had a tear or two throughout their ceremony.
One of my absolute favorite parts of their day was the fact that both Kayla and Amanda did their dress shopping independently of one another. Yet somehow they ended up picking dresses that were similar in style and design. After the reveal and the ceremony we went into pictures and they were both so surprised because they both said the style was slightly unique for each of them. It was not something they’d usually choose, so they for sure thought it would be a safe call and they wouldn’t pick the same dress. Luckily, each dress still had it’s own unique features and they both looked amazingly gorgeous.
I loved everything about this wedding and these two ladies! I hope you enjoy the images as much as I loved taking them!!
